BAUMA Exhibition project
BAUMA Exhibition is the most important trade show for Dunlop Conveyor Belting. It takes place every 3 years and gathers all of Dunlop's competitors, supporting businesses, and most importantly clients.

Project goal: Establish presence on BAUMA 2016
Place: Munich, Germany
Project time frame: 1 year
Project manager: Kinga Smagorowicz
Project team: Head of the engineering department, German-speaking countries sales manager, Sales & Marketing manager's assistant, Marketing officer.

The project consistent of the following steps:
1. Prepare the draft budget
2. Reserve the best booth spot on the grounds taking into consideration the budget and location
3. Establish the list of Dunlop managers to make appearance and make a detailed schedule of their flights and hotel requirements
4. Research and book the hotel for the managers taking into consideration the budget and location
5. Come up with ideas for the stand - My idea was to turn the stand into an interactive experience
6. Run the ideas by the management
7. Research, gather offers, choose, and hire the stand designing company based on their portfolio, submitted draft design, and the price
8. Come up with the stand design in collaboration with the engineering department and the stand designer

The stand involved a moving conveyor belt, belts displayed on the walls, interactive tablets next to the displayed belts, and an interactive touch screen on the wall of the "blind" corner.

9. Research, gather offers, and hire the company responsible for the software for the touch screen
10. Come up with the design of the program and its content in collaboration with the sales managers and the hired designers
11. Research and choose a company to develop the mechanism for the moving conveyor belt
12. Research and choose an agency to hire a booth assistant through
13. Establish what resources and promotional materials are needed on the grounds, check the stock, order out-of-stock materials
14. Check the hotel reservation
15. Cross- check the BAUMA requirements regarding the stand with the chosen design to make sure no regulations are violated
16. Collaborate with the engineering department to produce belts fitted for the stand
16. Transport all the conveyor belts needed for the display from Drachten, the Netherlands to Kielce, Poland for the stand assembly
17. Make sure when and how many people at once can assemble the stand
18. Organize transport of all the promotional materials and other resources needed at the stand from Drachten, the Netherlands to Munich, Germany
19. Oversee the movements, and troubleshoot any issues

The whole project was accompanied by social media and AdWords campaigning. The invitations has been sent to clients all around the world 1 month before the exhibition.
​
Every major decision was run by the management in order to receive an approval for all departments.
​
After the exhibition, sales managers and the marketing executive gathered all the contacts and leads established during the show.
​
BAUMA Exhibition project was a great success with no engineering, technical, or management issues.
